Definition of Qaʿr

Al-Qa'r refers to the bottom of something, its depth.

The Almighty says: 'As if they were hollow trunks of palm trees' (Al-Haqqah 7).

Al-munqa'ir is what is uprooted from the bottom.

Qa'r al-bi'r is the bottom of the well.
