Definition of Qnā

Al-Qinyah refers to what one acquires and possesses.

The Almighty says: 'And it is He who enriches and causes to possess' (An-Najm 48), meaning He gave wealth and possession.

Iqtanā ash-shay' means to acquire it to keep.
