Zuhd in the Quran

﴿وَشَرَوْهُ بِثَمَنٍۭ بَخْسٍۢ دَرَٰهِمَ مَعْدُودَةٍۢ وَكَانُوا۟ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلزَّٰهِدِينَ﴾

« And they sold him for a reduced price - a few dirhams - and they were, concerning him, of those content with little. »
