Definition Al-mnqwṣ

Al-mnqwṣ according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

It is the noun whose last letter is a ya preceded by a kasra, such as: Al-Qadi.

Al-mnqwṣ according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)

That whose seventh has been dropped after the quiescence (sukun) of its fifth.

Al-mnqwṣ according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

A noun whose last letter is a ya preceded by a kasra (Al-Ta'rifat, p. 250).
