Definition Al-mghrb

Al-mghrb according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

Al-abyad (shining white); al-maghrib: what is entirely white, and it is the least becoming of whiteness; al-gharaba: pure, brilliant whiteness (al-Ifsah fi fiqh al-Lugha, 2/1320).

Al-mghrb according to At-Ta'rifat al-Fiqhiyya (Al-Barkati)

The place of the sun's setting, opposed to the mashriq (east); the maghrib prayer is named for its time.

God and His angels shower their blessings on the Prophet. O believers, you should also send your blessings on him, and salute him with a worthy greeting.
