Definition Al-mbny
Al-mbny according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)
That whose movement and rest (final vowel and quiescence) are not due to a governing factor.
Al-mbny according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)
That which corresponds to the structure of the root, or that which occurs uncompounded.
