Definition Al-draya

Al-draya according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)

Knowledge perceived through a kind of stratagem, which consists of putting forward the premise, letting the mind wander, and employing reflection.

Al-draya according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

Knowledge perceived through a kind of stratagem ("al-khatl" appears in Al-Mufradat on page 198).
