Definition Al-ʿlaa al-faʿlya

Al-ʿlaa al-faʿlya according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

or for the sake of obtaining it, thus it is

Al-ʿlaa al-faʿlya according to Maqalid al-'Ulum (As-Suyuti)

that which brings about the existence of the thing
