Definition Aftda

Aftda according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

Such a one: to offer the ransom for oneself. In the Quran: [al-Ma'ida, 39: 'Those who disbelieve, if they had all that is on the earth, and the like of it with it, to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them: theirs will be a painful punishment.']. The captive: to ransom him.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا

God and His angels shower their blessings on the Prophet. O believers, you should also send your blessings on him, and salute him with a worthy greeting.
