Uqayb ibn Amr

[٢١٤٨] 'Uqayb ibn 'Amr - the brother of Sahl (١) [ibn 'Amr] (٢) - ibn 'Adi ibn Zayd ibn Jusham ibn Harithah al-Ansari al-Harithi (٣), he was present at Uhud, and 'Uqayb (٤) had a son called Sa'd, with the kunyah Abu al-Harith, who accompanied the Prophet ﷺ; he ('Uqayb's son) was deemed too young on the day of Uhud, so he was sent back and was not present at Uhud.

[٢١٤٩] 'Ikrash ibn Dhu'ayb ibn Hurquws ibn Ja'dah (٥) al-Murri (٦), with the kunyah Abu al-Sahba' (٧), he settled in al-Basrah; he has a single hadith, narrated from him by his son 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Ikrash, that he (٨) [came to the Prophet ﷺ with the charities of his people, the Banu Murrah] (٩), and he said to him: "Who are you?", and he said: I am (١٠) 'Ikrash ibn
