Hadiths on Sharecropping

This category gathers 3 hadiths on sharecropping: the working of the land of Khaybar by its inhabitants in return for half of its produce in fruits and grains; the view of Rafi' ibn Khadij allowing the leasing of land for gold and silver; and the practice of the Ansar, who used to lease the land saying “The produce of this (part of land) would be ours and (the produce) of that would be theirs”, a way later forbidden, while leasing for money remained permitted.
