Hadith text: The two sons of al-‘Ās are believers: ‘Amr and Hishām

عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «ابْنَا العاصِ مؤمنان: عمروٌ وهشامٌ».

Explanation of the hadith: The two sons of al-‘Ās are believers: ‘Amr and Hishām

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) testifies that ‘Amr ibn al-‘Ās and his brother Hishām ibn al-‘Ās are believers. May Allah be pleased with both of them. This Hadīth indirectly refutes the claim of those who disparage the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them).

God and His angels shower their blessings on the Prophet. O believers, you should also send your blessings on him, and salute him with a worthy greeting.
