Hadith text: Perform Witr prayer before the morning

عن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «أَوْتِرُوا قبل أن تُصبحِوُا».

Explanation of the hadith: Perform Witr prayer before the morning

Witr prayer is the last part of the night prayers exactly as Maghrib prayer is the last prayer performed during the daytime, so that it ends with an odd number prayer. The noble Hadīth indicates that the time period for Witr prayer is before the break of the second dawn.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا

God and His angels shower their blessings on the Prophet. O believers, you should also send your blessings on him, and salute him with a worthy greeting.
