This category addresses intermixing (al-ikhtilat) through an authentic hadith. A companion consults the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about his wife, stating that she does not object to a stranger's hand touching her. He is first told to divorce her; when he confesses: «I am afraid that I will miss her. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then enjoy her», he is answered: «Then enjoy her» The text thus teaches to keep away the situations that expose the soul to doubt. The hadith bears the number 58158.
