2 explained prophetic hadiths on "Divergence and Preponderance": Arabic text, translation, explanation and lessons, with authenticity grade and references.
This category presents 2 authentic hadiths (numbers 4564 and 66519) that give the criterion to settle cases of apparent contradiction between texts: leaving the doubtful for the indubitable. The first states: “Leave what you doubt for what you do not doubt”, adding that truthfulness is tranquility and that lying is doubt. The second takes up the same rule in a brief form. Caution in the face of doubt is thus the way of preponderance between the proofs.
